INSPECTION / TESTING:
Piping
All piping shall have 100% of the welds fully radiographed and interpreted in accordance with the normal fluid service requirements of paragraph 341 of the current edition of the ASME B31.3 Code.
Rushton takes exception to PWHT for piping as we have welding procedures that conform to NACE standard hardness. Materials will use select chemistry & no materials used will exceed 200 HBN.
Welded piping to be hydro tested to 1.5 times design pressure.
Heater:
Line Heater and firetube to be leak tested using standing water method & visually inspected for leaks.
