Description: Very nice package. Will require overhaul prior to redeployment. August 2018 Inspection I completed the inspection at Big Valley August 21st. We inspected the engine and compressor. Borescope engine, found liners worn at the top of the piston travel a definite wear ridge is evident indicating that the liner is worn out. Inspected belts and cooler bearings which are in serviceable condition. Inspect cooler fan. The cooler is quite dirty and needs cleaned as there are birds nesting behind the cooler. The starter end housing is missing, the regulator for the compressor automatic bypass valve is missing, there is a Remvue card missing form inside the panel also the valve train bolts are missing on cylinder number 1 . The compressor crankshaft looks good as do the connecting rods. The main and rod bearings in the compressor are in poor shape and need replacing before unit goes back in service. The piston rods appear to be in serviceable condition but should be polished when the packing is replaced which I recommend. The crossheads look good as does the inside of the cylinders.
